Why?

So about a year ago i was browsing some online forums when i came across a post, some guy had asked a question, "will 12" rims fit an s13?" the replys all made it pretty obvious there was no way he was going to get them to fit, So when my dream rims popped up forsale in sizes 17" by 12.5" rear and 17" by 11.5" front i started to wonder if i could ever make them fit? after heaps of researching online forums i found that there was about 2 other people who have jammed similar size rims under there 180sx/s13/200sx, so with that i scraped together my savings and went and purchased the rims in the hope that i would one day be able to make them fit!

This photo was after i had just spent the afternoon finding all the "rubbing" points and carefully beating them in with a hammer, taking care not to split the sheetmetal or make it look like its been bashed in haha, You can kind of see how big these rims compared to some of the other photos.

Test Fitting Rims

Rears are tucking up really nicely, will probably lower front slightly more to allow it to tuck up, however wanting to keep it legal so cant go super low.. for now haha

So finally gathered enough courage to chop my rear panels up for fitment of 50mm ORIGIN widebody gaurds! stoked with the way its sitting at the rear, front needs some work still.
